"I'll get better, with practice." She giggled. The greenrider kept her questions in check. If Jeyna wanted to tell her she would. No need to press her with too many questions. The younger woman was all smiles and laughed, "I was just lucky then." Thats all that could be said on the matter and while Neris was glad that she had seen Jeyna getting into the Lake, she was also still being nagged by that little voice in the back of her mind. For now, she would ignore it.
"Labeth thinks it was perfectly natural. I mean I am a greenrider and you are a bluerider. Theres nothing wrong with us being together. Labeth is rather logical about these things. It probably helps that she knows Ragoth..."The green made no comment on any of this. There was no reason she couldn't answer sucha question but was amused that everyone thought her delicate, though only to a certain point. If they all kept treating her like a baby she was going to get upset.
She looked back over at Jeyna who now rested her hand on her belly. Amneris felt rather content at the moment and had no plans to move. That was until she remembered, lessons! Oh she had better make sure she was not missing any... surely she had missed a chore but that was something she could make up. Lessons were integral to graduating on time and being tapped into a good wing. Labeth? When are lessons? In a candlemark. You have time.

Jeyna gently nuzzled into the young woman sharing her bed, "I would be glad to provide you with all the practice you could want, not that you need as much as you might think." She was grinning quite happily as she nuzzled and caressed her. "No, Amneris, dear one, I was the lucky one. I had hoped you might be there." Which was more than she had admitted out loud until then.
"I'm glad to hear that Labeth approves. And no, there is nothing wrong." Jeyna knew that neither Amneris or Labeth fully understood why it was required that they wait until the dragon was a little bit older, but their clutch was not far from graduation and Labeth would probably be rising herself in the next little bit.
With her hand on Amneris' stomach, she felt her reaction as she remembered lessons. "Everything ok?"

Amneris too moved in close to Jeyna. Just touchign seemed to make everything else melt away. Sure there were ballads about love as much as dragons but she had never expected to find it herself and she was certain that was what she was feeling and had been feeling for a while. "Good... I wouldn't want to be unprepared when Labeth flies." She winked at Jeyna.
The next thing out of the bluerider's mouth took Amneris back a bit. She had wanted to find Amneris. Jeyna had not been as foreward as that, not with how she felt about Amneris, ever. The younger woman was both pleased and concerned. Pleased that Jeyna had wanted her among others she could have gone looking for and concerned as to why the bleurider needed her. Neris did not let her concern show on her features. Why, had little to do with what happened because it would have happened anyway.
"I just remembered I had lessons today. Not for a candlemark though, so I can stay a while longer." She kissed Jeyna's forehead softly. It was a loving gesture not a patronizing one as it was sometimes used for. She cared deeply about making Jeyna happy and had realized this some time ago though the bluerider had not admitted until today that she too felt for Amneris. "I'd rather stay here than go but I have the feeling it will be more information on Between and I don't want to have an accident..."

"I wouldn't let you miss it, 'Neris. The last thing I want is for you to have an accident!" She wrapped her arms around the young woman and squeezed gently, smiling at the gentle kiss. "You know that you are welcome here whenever you want, whether just to visit Pixie, to escape the barracks, or to spend time together. But, dearest, you are not allowed to miss lessons."
Having gotten that out of the way, she grinned, "Though I mean that. You and Labeth are welcome here whenever, outside of lessons. And I'll be glad to practice for when your lovely Labeth does fly." She kissed her softly. "If you want." She enjoyed just cuddling with the young woman as well. And was very thankful that their being together did not seem to hurt their friendship.

"I don't think Labeth would allow us to be late anyway. Don't worry Jeyna, we are very careful." She smiled at the bluerider's concern though. "You won't be rid of me so easily. I'd rather spend time with you than anyone else." Amneris said, meaning humans, obviously she'd spend time with Labeth even before she would spend time with Jeyna. The green knew this as well and did not pester her rider with insecurities. Labeth saw herself as above such pettiness, which probably came with her vanity.
The greenrider kissed Jeyna on the cheek gently. "Lessons don't last all day." Amneris was thinking outloud. "We can practice more later... maybe after dinner. I for one will be starving by the time lessons are over." She felt like she had never felt before. Yes, she and Labeth belonged to eachother and that was a wonderful feeling too but this was different. Here was another human who loved her and protected her. Having both her Labeth and Jeyna made her feel much more complete and whole.

Jeyna felt Ragoth's smugness in her mind. The blue might be keeping his thoughts to himself, but he was not hiding the way that he felt about the situation at all. Though she did not entirely understand why it was that the blue was so smug; she just thought it was because she moved past keeping Amneris out of her bed for fear of harming their relationship.
"We can do whatever you like this evening, 'Neris. If you'd rather do something other than make love, than that's fine too." She nuzzled into the younger woman's hair. "Though I won't protest if that is what you want to do either." She chuckled softly, "But don't you ever feel like that's all I want to do with you." She kissed along the line of her jaw. 'You are the most incredible young woman I know, Amneris."

Labeth was quite comfortable on the ledge and knew that the blue was a good dragon to be seen with. It made her more desirable. Vanity coming into play again, she thought she ought to be desirable anyway. This merely gave her that much more of a boost. The olive colored dragon became increasingly aware of how happy everyone was. This was good, very very good. Ragoth, is yours as happy as mine is?
Amneris could think of a million things she would like to do and all of them with Jeyna. "No, I wouldn't think that. Don't think that about me either." She said softly. The bluerider had no idea how far the poor girl had fallen for her. "You have no idea how wonderful you are Jeyna. I wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for you." And you too Labeth.

Mine is happier than she knows. But yes, she is extremely happy. For his part, the Blue was quite glad to share his ledge with the Green. She was a beautiful specimen of Dragon, and he had no doubt that when the time came for her to fly, together the two of them would show other dragons just how it was done. He nuzzled the green softly, eyes whirring with contentment.
Jeyna chuckled softly, "I don't know about that, dear one. Many survived getting the illness. But I was very glad to be able to take care of you. And I'll always be here for you." She kissed her jaw again, "And no worries, 'Neris. I would never think that about you." And it was true. The blue may not admit that what she felt for the other woman was love, but she did know how highly she thought of her.

The green was satisfied with that answer and allowed herself to become closer to the blue. His nuzzling was welcome. An adult blue dragon was interested in her. That pleased her to no end. She was almost as smug as the blue was now. Dragons knew everything, in her opinion, thats why riders needed them.
Amneris could disagree that many people her age did die but then she didn't really want to ruin the time they were having with morbid thoughts. Her eyes watched Jeyna's face as she spoke. "Well you never know when I'll be in need again." She giggled. Jeyna was constantly saving her from one thing or another. "I feel like the damsel in distress at times. Wish I could say I planned it that way..." The greenrider never really wanted to seem weak but she wasn't exactly a pillar of physical strength. No matter how hard she worked she was still thin and less muscular than other people around her.
"I really should write a song about it." Neris hummed and traced Jeyna's face with her fingertips. The feel of the other woman's skin was wonderful, so soft and smooth. "You are so beautiful." The greenrider spoke wistfully. She didn't consider herself a great beauty but Jeyna was gorgeous.

Jeyna laughed, though it was a warm laugh not one of ridicule. "You're stronger than you think, Amneris, but we all have points of weakness, where we need help. And, I have to be honest, I've rather enjoyed being your hero." The fact of the matter was that she was uncertain of how she would feel if someone else were to rescue Amneris from something. Which was kind of an unsettling thought, and one she did not give voice to.
"I find it hard to believe that I could ever be a subject of a song. Though if the song was yours, I'd be more than honored." She smiled as Amneris traced her face, though she caught that touch of wistfulness in her voice, "So are you, dear one, to me." She caught Amneris' wrist and kissed her palm. "Not just your face and your form, but all of you, your spirit, your fiestiness, your heart. You are beautiful."
