N'zule's green eyes were wide, unblinking.
"I would." He said, and there was an edge of finallity to what he was saying that really didn't make any sense.
"And I'd forgive you, and perhaps you'd even forgive me everytime either of us made a mistake. But for how long would it last? Rory," N'zule had to clear his throat, "I love you in more ways than I can even imagen. And I'll never stop loving you."
N'zule blinked, released the crib, stepping towards Rory. "Rory, don't you ever worry this will distroy us? We're always hurting each other, attacking, retreating. I don't want to live without, but I don't know if I can live with you either."
What was he saying?

N'zule was confusing him more than ever before. The indecision was not going to help matters. He did understand what was being said, though he didn't want to hear parts of it. Rory didn't like it anymore than N'zule did but he wasn't the same and he would rather try again then to risk missing out. This was not his decision to make really. It was N'zule's. He had a dragon to think of, unlike Rory.
Rory didn't want to anwer N'zule. He didn't like that sort of talk. Destroy them? Rory would rather risk and have love then to love without the most precious thing on the planet. "I understand your concerns but they seem smaller to me than you. The fact of the matter is I'd rather have what we have together and risk then to give up on us and be unhappy forever..." Forever was such a long time too.
What could he do to compell the greenrider to give them another chance? Nothing. It was a decision that would have to be made without Rory influencing him. "N'zule, you know how I feel but this is up to you. I'll do anything you wish me to."
