Venaru had been pining after R'net for a while, especially after their mini vacation at Southern Boll. She couldn't get him from her mind, she couldn't work without hoping to bump into him just around the corner. And the difference between her, and say, Gwyn, Venaru wasn't shy to do something about it. If she didn't try for him, some other girl would, and Venaru was competitive like that. The woman got ready in her rooms. She wore a clingy dark blue dress with a bit of black lacework. It pushed up her breasts and showed of her hourglass form. She wasn't as skinny or as muscular and taut as the dragonriding girls, and she played that up. A man didn't always like a girl hard as rock. So she didn't have a dragon to satisfy his own, was that really a drawback to a decent woman? She didn't think so.
When she was satisfied with her looks, she found R'net's weyr and knocked on his door. It wasn't as if she was a total stranger, they had spoken several times, and she was sure there was some sparks there, like at the beach. If he scorned her, she could hate him and be free of her infatuation, but there was also the chance that he would take to her. And that was what she was counting on.

At first, R'net had thought he would never be able to keep up with the amount of work that he and Z'ir were taking care of after V'rak ended up as Weyrleader. Slowly, however, he adjusted, and was just finishing his last report- on the new Wingmembers he'd pounced on when the Weyrling's had graduated.
Standing up, and stretching out the kinks in his back, R'net almost didn't hear pound of a fist on his door. Having not arranged for any company, having not thought he'd get done with all of this work so quickly, R'net headed over to the door and pulled it in, leaning out of his room, holding onto the door frame.
What was outside made him feel like a very happy name- a beautiful woman, in a beautiful gown. Blue gown, smokey brown eyes, and big pouty lips. Soft looking- it was nice.
"Hello Venaru." R'net said, a slight smile curving his face slightly. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"My whim, of course." Venaru said with a grin, she gave him a little wink with her bedroom eyes. The young rider was a sight for sore eyes. She had always thought herself too good to be sleeping with mere drudges. They were boring to her, always following her every word, of course they had too, but they were not for her. Now bronzeriders, they were powerful, that mere power was attractive to her, their ambition and arrogance was addictive to her, it drove her mad with desire. R'net was the one she had her eyes on for some time. He was gorgeous, and seemed respectful of her. In Venaru's mind: he was perfect.
"Might I come in?" She said sweetly, and added with a mischievious grin, "You could just stare at me in the hall all night, but I doubt that would be much fun for either parties." She could tell he was at least interested. The woman didn't think that blue was the best color for her, but she couldn't help but admit that she looked fine.

R'net pulled the door aside, and moved himself to allow Venaru to walk in. He had a slightly bemused expression on his face. Sure- he'd taken Venaru on a picnic, and she seemed a sweet girl, but he hadn't pegged her as the type to arrive on his front door.
Mentally, he shrugged. She was nice, she was pretty, and she probably wasn't up to anything. It was fine. Besides, who was he to say no?
"I'm sure I could stare at you all evening, and be fine- but I'm sure you would grow bored of me within an instant." R'net gave Venaru a quick wink, and glanced around his weyr.
It was slightly cluttered, with his desk covered in small piles of work, some done, some mostly done, and some waiting for a better time. His bed, while made, was wrinkled, and the partition wasn't closed. Bits of harness were scattered about the room, some about to be repaired, others finished, but needing to be connected to the main lines.

Venaru moved in, letting herself "accidentally" brush against him as she slipped through the door. "Oh, I'm sure I could never bore of you, R'lec." She smiled softly, and discreetly let herself gaze around the room. It was decent, cluttered, yes, but she didn't let that bother her. Ven's eyes lingered on the bed for a moment before she looked over her shoulder at R'lec with a smile, "It's a nice place you have here, very cozy and homey."
She took a few more steps into to the room, letting her fingers slid along the edge of his desk. She looked down at her hand, smiling mischieveiously, "I hope they don't keep you too busy that you can't have a little fun here and there."
