R'lec had just gotten a six week old puppy, she was exploring everything causing many problems. She loved dashing out his weyr and then prancingg around in the common room. R'lec would chase after her scold her and take her back, often he looked as though he was ready to yell but he didn't.
To the wing their wingsecond looked as though he had his hands full, he wasn't sure if anyone was laughing at this but he was enjoying her when she wasn't causing him trouble.
Mine just give her back she is to much trouble! Myneth said for the hundredth time in the last few days. R'lec merely told the bronze no and waited for the dragon to get over it.

K'dyn, who as a rule, generally avoided the Pyralis weyrs. He had just finished pulling a prank on one of the brownriders for insulting Ortath. Deciding to wait for the screams, he stood hiding a chuckle in the long corridor. Then he saw a flash of fur and a man giving chase.
The man was Wingsecond R'lec. HAH!! This would be his chance to get under the man's skin. K'dyn had so much fun teasing and taunting Pyralis riders, because they usually got riled easily.
"Whats wrong R'lec? A little puppy too much for you?" His eyes held a mishievious glint but his smile was more teasing. This could be fun, though he was prepared to run should things get heated... as they often did around here.

Pricess who heard a newe voice ran up to it and sat down looking up, she knew that her owner often disliked this behavior but she still did it. She was going to play up to her namesake she wanted everyone to pay her attention.
"No she just needs to learn to stay in the weyr, K'dyn. She's only little right now." R'lec said as he scooped her up in his arms. She still looked at K'dyn she barked only a little and generally never unless she wanted somethin. She yipped at the Brownrider and squirmed to be free of R'lec's hands. R'lec held on this pup had given him enough trouble for now he was not going to give Princess the chance to cause anymore trouble.
Ortath, why do you think humans don't listen to our sense?[/b] Myneth asked the Brown he was curious as to why the riders ignored their dragons senisbility.

"Don't think I'd want one of those running about my weyr. She looks to be more trouble than she's worth and I already ahve a troublesome dragon." I heard that!I'm sure you did. Don't worry, this will give me an alibi when those Pyralis riders come looking for the person who pranked them. Its not like you to be so nice to a Pyralis rider. I see your reason though. Ortath wasn't thrilled with the idea that this could get K'dyn in worse trouble than if had simply gone back to their weyr.
"Must be a trick to training them. I thought children were hard enough to train..." He said that thinking of his childhood. Kids were probably worse, come to think of it. He was glad he was a rider and didn't have to worry about such things.
Ortath responded to Myneth, Humans are not logical beings. They follow their emotions more then what they know in their heads. They do not listen to us because we remind them of their own heads. They would rather listen to their hearts. That was how K'dyn had explained it to him. Of course he had been referring to women. Ortath saw little difference between the two.

I guess that makes sense, thank you.[/i] Myneth said thinking that the brown had been right mostly. R'lec was busy trying to keep the pup in his hands and not causing even more trouble. She yipped again she wanted down and wanted to run and play a little, though she did not want to get dirty she hated getting dirty.
"I have a bad feeling you did something. I'm not sure what though." R'lec said looking K'dyn over. He wondered if the boy had done another prank, more than likely but he had no proof so he couldn't act on it. Princess actually started chewing on R'lec's thumb to get his attention or even to get him to let her down.

Ortath agreed that it made sense. Well as much sense as one could make out of human behavior. K'dyn wasn't trying to get himself caught, so when R'lec mentioned he had done something, he kept a straight face.
"If I had, do you honestly think I'd have stayed around here. I could get beat pretty badly..." It would be one on twenty or so riders, he'd lose and he'd be in a lot of pain. It wouldn't be worth it. Or at least thats what he wanted R'lec to believe.
"So you recently acquired this pup then? She seems fairly well behaved to me. At least she's only attacking you..." He grinned, the pup was cute. The two different color eyes were interesting and she had a strange coat color. She seemed to know she was interesting to look on. No doubt she was like most females. Up to no good and getting into things they shouldn't.

R'lec nodded thinking about what to say that comment had gotten under his skin but he was not going to let this man know it yet. He waited a moment before putting her down, she had gotten his thumb good enough, he did not want her chewing on his finger till it bled.
Princess however spared R'lec a response by coming over and sqauting to pee right on the other man's shoe. R'lec knwe what she was doing he wasn't going to stop her, if the other man noticed then alright if not so much the better. She then flounced off to go and find a new thing to play with, she then sat and whined at R'lec wanting to be held again.
R'lec sighed and picked her up looking at K'dyn waiting to see how he'd react to her peeing on him. She had done that to R'lec once and he had punished her but she was only showing this other man how she treated those that said bad things to her master. R'lec felt just a little bit of pride in his little canine female.

K'dyn was not watching the puppy though he heard the trickle on his shoe. He wasn't above trying to kick the puppy off either. He nearly did but she wandered off before he had the chance. K'dyn, unlike Pyralis riders did not have a bad temper. So he let it go.
"You'd think an apology would be in order. It seems not only are you incapable of training a canine but you have no manners. I am soory but I'm not going to stand here and be continually insulted." This was a way to get out of here without getting himself into trouble.
K'dyn turned away from the pair and peered down the hallway before exiting the common room. He wasn't one for animals anyway. Ortath was so demanding he doubted that a pet would be anything but neglected. What with having to put special cremes and thigns on Ortath's hide to find a cure for his hide issues and then the flight thing well, he had enough on his plate. How a Wingleader managed that time he didn't know.
He made a right onto another main corridor. No way was he getting caught in the Pyralis wing weyrs. He'd go back to ahra and revel in a prank well pulled, while cleaning his now soiled leather shoe.
