Cedar Valley is what the land is called and if you want a map of where everything is, I recommend you buy the book. There is a very nice map inside of it. Anyway, the setting is this place that I have called Cedar Valley. You will start out as a cat living anywhere in the six areas on the Play board. You don't have to stay there and can move about freely. Please make sure to read the rules before joining the game. There is a lot of important information in there. Also, I have not stolen anything from this book besides the place names (Rootwood, Old Woods, etc.) and I do not claim any right for creating them. Rather, I applaud Tad Williams for creating such a beautiful piece of work that I love so much that I have made basically a fan-fiction site dedicated to it. This game does not take place at the time of the story, but instead is set about 20 years -after- the adventures of Fritti Tailchaser and Pouncequick.
