Gwyn had known that Aurath was due to rise, she could feel the tension, and she could calculate. She had been glad that she had gotten the guts to kick her former weyrmate out, but now she had some reservations. It was likely that Aurath would be flown by some one new, some one she didn't know. She had been putting away some of her clean clothes when she felt a sudden burst of energy. Aurath. . . She knew immediately, and knew from turns of experience she needed to get down to the grounds. She dropped the rest of the clothes in a wad in her trunk and briskly walked as fast as possible to her destination.
The green was on the grounds, she did not need to feed, and she annouced her flight, Catch me if you can! Aurath was an old vetran; she would let any blue, brown, or heck, bronze if they wanted, try for her. Her hide was nearly glowing, she looked healthy and strong, a slight bluish tinge to her bright hide creating an aquamarine tone. (see bio) Aurath soared up, surely followed by some randy blues in the least.

I chase! Myneth announced as he rose into the air he was going to win this flight! He was a strong healthy bronze he knew that he could win.
R'lec sighed he wondered why Myneth chose to chase a green when there were Queens in this weyr. However he made his way to the weyr he hoped Gwyn had gone to. He may not like this but he knew what it was like to ignore flightlust.

Flight! Aurath rises. We will catch!
It was only after flights, successful or unsuccessful, that Jeyna realized just how instinctive Ragoth and her own thoughts became. Focused and simple.
The bluerider forced herself to focus on more than the lust she felt radiating from her dragon, even as she started heading down to where the pursuers would gather to see who caught the Rider. She made a point to try to keep track of the Green Riders at Telgar, though since Greens and Blues were the most numerous it was by no means easy. However, Aurath's rider was in Triveni, so it did not take long for her to remember that Aurath's rider was Gwyn. She never remembered Gwyn making any derogatory comments against female blueriders, though she was pretty sure she'd just recently separated from a long time weyrmate, a male.
The process was thought through quickly, and both Rider and Dragon were already on their way. Do I fly?
Fly, Ragoth! Catch the glorious green!
Both Rider and Dragon picked up their pace, and soon Jeyna was on the grounds, joining the other pursuers. The Dragon likewise followed the challenging call of the Green and began to give chase. Appreciating Gwyn for just a moment while the aquamarine hide of the green was appreciated by Ragoth, the two then merged completely, the chase becoming one.

Ortath was on his ledge, having had some almost brutal morning drills, he was resting. K'dyn had just finished a bath which had relaxed all his muscle tensions. He was in no mood to be tested. Even as Ortath spoke, K'dyn knew what the brown was about to bring up. The one thing they could not agree upon.
Mine, I'm giving chase to Aurath. I don't think you are...She is very pretty and her rider is a female. It seemed to the dragon that his wasn't as fond of males as he was females. Yes. I know. I've met her. She is in no state to be flown by you. Not after coming out of such a long relationship. You think too much. Lets just go and have fun.Alright but you better not be getting your hopes up. There's bound to be a Bronze or two in this flight and your no longer a novelty, having flown Delith.
The Brown ignored the last part. He and his rider arrived at the feeding grounds, not really in full agreement. K'dyn learned that the dragon needed to give chase every so often. It made him less tense and more aggreeable. Gwyn was looking lovely, as she had when he had met her but this time she seemed to glow.
Ortath found himself looking the aquamarine hide over before saying anything.Aurath is in very good condition. She will be hard to catch. Looks like theres already a few people in pursuit, including a Bronze. Don't worry, it'll be fun!

((I'll post the flight in it's entirity, you post your response, and then I'll post the conclusion/winners))
Gwynhaver saw the riders as she saw the dragons gathering. A shiver went down her spine, she knew she'd be with one of them by the time the flight was over. The greenrider would submit to her green's fancies, and she felt herself becoming one with Aurath, who wanted desperately to sprint ahead of these dragons. The green was antsy, and as soon as a few males started to show up, she was out of there like a shot. Aurath did not care for heights as a queen might, but more for agility, her speed was her best defense from these chasers. Aurath chose a western direction first, and sprinted strait as an arrow. Cliff walls didn't seem to phase her, and as her competitors came closer, she flew up and looped around them, straight into the early afternoon sun. After a brief blindness to confuse, Aurath veered right and quickened her pace. I am triumphant! As she saw one blue, not Ragoth, drop from the race. Soon the others would regain themselves from her little trick and be after her again. When she felt a shadow across her back, from whom she could only assume would be a larger competitor, she started a zig zag pattern. She swung left, and the veered right, then swung left again.
Gwyn, on the ground, seemed floaty, a dreamlike expression on her gentle features. Soon, it would seem, female greenriders would be a luxury for frisky riders. She sort of danced around the riders, definatly more sultry and seductivly than playful and innocent. She brushed against K'dyn, and then winked at Jeyna before giving R'lec's bicep a little squeeze. Of course, the poor girl was egging them on. When Aurath gave her triumpant bugle, Gwyn laughed, like a mirror. She knew Aurath was pleased with herself, among the competitors was a bronze?! Of course, Aurath had been caught by bronze before, but it always pleased her to see a metallic trying to catch her.
Aurath now felt her wings grow heavy. No more sprinting ahead of the boys. Her breaths grew more labored, her strength was waning, Aurath could not keep it up for much longer. The males would be gathering above and below her. . . She was concentrating on moving, even thinking about landing when it occurred to her that maybe some one might help her. . . But she had to get away, fly farther, right? She couldn't let them catch her! She teased, Which of you might help me?

Ragoth flew after the beautiful Green, flying close, but not resisting putting forth so much speed that he dropped out early. When Aurath turned to fly so that the dragons pursuing would be blinded by the sun, he had a feeling to look slightly away from her, watching from his peripheral vision, so that he would not be blinded by the sun, but would not lose sight of her, when she veered right, he was not long turning, and he barely noticed the other blue falling from the flight. For now, gem of the skies, but we will be even more triumphant together!
Jeyna was completely merged with Ragoth. In Delith's flight, the Blue Rider had resisted the merge, because she was pretty certain that N'zule would not appreciate her dragon flying his and waking up beside her. However, she had no reason to believe that being with Gwyn would not be pleasant, so she had not hesitated a moment to give into Ragoth's lust. Her blood boiled within her as Gwyn winked at her, and like her dragon, she would do her own pursuing, approaching her with her confidence, and reaching how to stroke her hair momentarily.
It only took a couple of turns before Ragoth/Jeyna recognized the zig-zag pattern and flew straight, but slightly under and behind Ragoth, waiting for the moment to fly up and catch the beautiful Green

Ortath was free to chase and that meant free to fly as far as she did. It was exhilarating, the chase. He was not as fast as the green but he could outlast many of the smaller dragons if it were necessary. He wasn't a slow dragon but he wasn't as fast as the agile greens and their blue counterparts. The cliff walls approached all too quickly for the brown but not so much so that he lost sight of what was going on. The green wanted to trick him. He came over the cliff knowing the sun was there but not wanting to lose the distance he was beginning to gain. He closed his eyes briefly but could not avoid the sun forever.
After the blindness came over him he continued to fly as straight as possible. After regaining his vision he followed the green right but chose to fly a little above his competitors. There was a nice air flow up there and it was conducive to his steadier pace. The green began to zig zag but Ortath, following from above followed only the first zig zag and then decided to fly straight and remain slightly above the green and his competitors.
On the ground K'dyn had lost a sense of himself, becoming more like Ortath. The greenrider was teasing him just as the green was teasing his dragon. Feeling her touch was almost unbearable. Almost. He paid little attention to the competitors on the ground though Ortath was aware of the others. The closest were a Bronze and a blue. Aurath certainly had her choices. K’dyn was usually very shy around women but under the influence of flight lust, that went away. He moved in closer to Gwyn, not trying to lay claim on her. He was drawn to her, just as his dragon was to hers. When the blue rider touched Gwyn, he clenched his fist. Gwyn didn’t belong to her yet!
Ortath also noticed Ragoth below the green, almost angry that the blue was such an even competitor. He tried not to focus on that though, not with Aurath growing more and more tired, and he gaining more speed, like a long distance runner. You have flown fast and hard, wondrous Aurath. If you need assistance, I will help you.

((time to finish 'er, good work all of you! Remember, this isn't for forever!)) The green noticed her competitors were getting closer and closer. Used the last of her strength to burst foreward and away from Ragoth, if only a few paces. Aurath was growing more and more tired. She was starting to realize she couldn't keep this up any longer. Her wings pumped more steadily, she was slowing down. The green was a sprinter, no cross country for her! The hurdles were behind her now, and she had nothing but the last stretch. She admired both the blue and the brown for being with her for so long. Now which of them to catch her. Oh! She had no time to think! She started a decline, and lukily Ortath was there, she sort of fell up close to him, Catch me, good brown! Thankfully her flight was over this time. Gwyn half smiled in her haze, as she leaned heavily on K'dyn. They would retire to the flight rooms.

The brown extended his wings and caught her as she asked. Carefully, Ortath's wings came under hers so that the air caught in them and he could steer them back to the ground. On the ground K'dyn made certain to lead the greenrider to an unoccupied flight room, though he still wasn't thinking clearly. In the very back of his mind, he wondered what the morning might bring...
((sorry its short.))
