Jenya had seen the signs in the wing exercises that morning. There was no question in her mind that Idana's Erenth was going to fly this afternoon. And she very much did not want a repeat of what happened the last time Ragoth caught Erenth. She had made it clear to her dragon that they would not be trying for this green, then she had headed back to her weyr in Triveni's wing.
She rubbed at the back of her neck as she walked to her weyr, not really paying close attention to where she was going. At least the frustration was usually less if she and Ragoth opted out of a flight. If she did not find someone to be with for the evening, she'd go for a run later. That tended to help some.
She took a deep breath. She had some leather work she needed to see to. That should help distract her. She was trying to figure out which pieces needed work when she ran into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

"Oh it's fine!" Nisha squeaked. "Jenya?" She then asked, after a second. The drudge recognized the rider, and blinked in astonishment. Jenya rarely rushed, the bluerider didn't look so good.
"How're you today?" The younger girl was aware that her arms were dirty from the muck and dust that accumulated over turns in the hallways of the Weyr. The halls weren't always used, as many riders simply had their dragon pick them up. That was why, she realized with a sigh, she'd been given that duty.
"I hope I didn't stir up the dust to much. I didn't think many people would be passing through." It was a simple enough apology, but Nisha had learned to always be rather apologetic. The riders and other rankers weren't that harsh, not in this Weyr, but you never knew when you'd come across one who didn't fit the norm.
It would be useless to dust off her dirty blue dress, but only the knowledge that she’d probably make the dust worse kept her from doing it. She liked Jeyna, and had kept the Rider company on more than a few occasions. It wasn’t nice to know her hair was a mess, and that there was probably a streak of dirt across her face.

"Oh! Nisha!" She smiled seeing who it was she had run into. "Eh, I'll be fine. Just... kind of needed to take some time away from things that's all." The reason really didn't matter, and she didn't want to tell the drudge her frustrations. After all, potential bed mates did not take that kind of frustration or desperation to be attractive.
"You're fine, Nisha. I just felt like walking. You should not worry so much about it." She grinned, "You're doing your job. That stirs up dust. That'd be an awfully silly thing for someone to get upset about."
Jeyna would lean down and gently rub off the streak of dirt. "Don't worry so much."

"Well, you if say so." She said, still a bit nervous, and not made less so by Jeyna cleaning her face off. Frowning lightly, she looked at her hands. They were waterlogged, and the nail beds needed to be cleaned again. It wasn't good to look this unattractive- she never knew when she would need to look nice, and smell nice as well.
At least the soap was pleasant smelling enough. Triveni Wing must have called on a favor to get this good of soap. Strong too- it would probably accent the air for a few days at least. Maybe longer!
"I must look a frightful mess, huh?" She scrunched her nose up slightly. A part of her body tingled slightly- but not enough for her to truly notice.

She laughed softly, "Nisha, you really have to stop worrying so much. You look fine. Though if you're hoping for a rendevous tonight, you might want to take a bath after you finish your work." She winked at her.
She enjoyed the times she'd been with Nisha. "If you want, I'd be more than willing to share a bath with you."
She grimaced, though not at Nisha as Ragoth asked again if they could try. No, my jewel. They don't us to fly them anyway. We're better to not then to try to force ourselves.
At his assent she would shake her head slightly, "Sorry about that. Ragoth needed my attention for a moment." She rolled her eyes slightly as she heard a few dragons bugle. It really was better that they didn't try.

"Perhaps you'd be willing to share that bath now?" Nisha asked, her voice more forceful than it'd been a few minutes ago. Standing up, job forgotten(though she would go back to it once this was over), she smiled coquettishly.
"I really can't stand this feeling on my skin anymore." And it was safer to already be with someone before the Green was caught anyway. Nisha could remember what it was like the few times that she'd recently tried to avoid giving in at all. She had been lucky, but she didn't want to risk her standing by abducting an unwilling person.
"And, another girl always knows how to make another girl better anyway." Men weren't that bad- in fact, she usually liked them better, but Jeyna was such a sweetheart, that it was easy enough to say. She stepped a little closer to Jeyna, still smiling.

Jeyna blinked. It was rare that another girl hit on her. Usually, they preferred to let her take the lead. Though as she thought about it, most of the times she'd been with Nisha, Nisha had been rather aggressive. Not something she usually liked in women - men she did, but not usually women.
Jeyna did not stay stunned long, instead she growled softly at the woman and closed the distance between them. "I think that can be arranged." She would kiss her, not being one to deny another - and her own frustration was quite glad to find a willing outlet.
After a moment she'd scoop Nisha up and carry her the few steps to her weyr. She had a small bath. It was not the deeper bath a bronze rider would have, but it sufficed and was quite cozy for two.

The flight was over, and Nisha's eyes snapped open. She could feel the contend in the dragons, making her want to behave like them, and lazy around for the rest of the day. It was, however, not possible. She still had work, and it was probably that an hour had passed- maybe even more!
Extracting herself carefully, Nisha paused, finally remembering where the towels were kept. Jeyna looked like she was still asleep, and was at an angle that Nisha doubted she was in any danger from falling into the tub. Carefully drying herself off, the Drudge gathered her clothes together, and placed them back on her body.
Giving the small room one last glance around, the drudge removed herself back to the hallway, and began the arduous task of cleaning the walkway once more.

Jenya woke as she felt Nisha shifting. She frowned as she watched her leave, but she knew that Nisha had probably gone back to work. Though she had to admit that that had been a pleasant surprise for the day.
She did wonder what had brought the sudden change in Nisha. One moment she was worried and shy, and the next... the next she was as forward as Jeyna could be. She shook her head. There was no telling.
She sighed and took a breath before getting dressed. It was odd having the other slip out. Usually, she was the one slippingout. However, she had learned that Nisha did not fit into any "usual" categories. Even when the girl stayed a whole night, she always left early in the morning to get to work.
