"Well they have more than most riders do, I dare say." Marisol added. She could think of quite a few humans who were much to serious. Especially when it came to flights. She had never really been one to get into a relationship that held no humor.
Beynath enjoyed a good joke as much as the next dragon, though the Queen was apt to understand more than most of them. Marisol often wondered how she had gotten herself into this position. Bey was hard to handle, almost as hard to handle as her rider was. In fact it must have been pure chance that any man at any time had been able to sway them.
Beynath was eating her third beast with voracity. The dragon was pretty much sated. Marisol knew her limit by now. Overfeeding her would do her no good. The Dragonhealers said if she took on extra weight that Weyrlinghood injury could cause her a lot more pain. Now that she was older it was beginning to bother her, a dull ache, when she flew.

V'rak's lips quirked into that humor-filled smile. "Ahhh but it's too hard a truth." he chuckled lightly. He looked at the retired Weyrwoman, with a raised brow before looking back to the dragons.
You're going to get fat, The Wingleader warned Bristith, smiling to himself.
I'm almost done." The bronze grumbled back. He was, of course, by now, gobbling down a fourth beast, no longer taking his time. The bronze loved to eat, his appetite fit enough to impress any man. HAHA.
V'rak shook his head in good humor and let the dragon be for now...

The Gold was done long before the younger Bronze. She flew over to the riders without hesitation. Now Marisol would be flown back to their weyr. Then she could eat and spend time with Q'tre. The Retired Weyrwoman thought of the man briefly. He was often on her mind as was normal when you loved someone. SHe shifted her wait, watching the Gold land.
"It was lovely chatting with you, V'rak. Hopefully we will see you and Bristith again soon." She smiled and began to mount her dragon. It took her an extra few moments, after all she wasn't twenty anymore, or fourty... or even sixty. Her bones creaked a little as she finished settling herself in.
Marisol waved to man and dragon then gave Beynath leave to take off.

V'rak tilted his head in acknowledgment to the retired Weyrwoman's farewell. That genuine smile pulled hi slips as he waved as the massive gold took off... then thinking of dragons...
Bristith, he called, Time to fly.
Uh huh. the bronze replied lazily, slowly lumbering over. No doubt the dragon wanted to lounge with the others... but too bad. He'd learn for overeating in a single sitting.
