Hello everyone this is our welcome Thread. Ask questions and introduce yourself to the others. Say whatever you want within reason.

I'll start to break the ice...

My RL name is Katherine but I prefer Katie/Kate. I'm the creator of the site and have been rping Pern for about 6 years (heh I almost put Turns!). I'm not always the authority on Pern which is why I need the help of people with DLGs. A lot of what I do know I've learned from RP and the books.

My favorite Pern book is Moreta and she is also my favorite Weyrwoman. Besides Anne McCaffrey my other fave authore is Terry Brooks... especially the Shannara series.

I am online as much as I can be but I'm currently planning my Wedding for next March so things can get a bit hectic. I work full time at a Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Assistant. (YEs, I love the fluffies!)

I'm Dreamer mostly, but if you prefer real life names, I go by Amanda. I'm a full time student who moonlights as a bookstore employee, so if you ever need a recommendation for a book, let me know.

I've been RPing for a little over six years, and have been RPing Pern for roughly five. I own pretty much every Anne McCaffrey book(including the travesty of a mash up between her and Todd), and am more than willing to look up information from any of them if you need to know something. My favorite Anne book is Acorna, followed closely by the short story "Ever The Twain" and also Dragonseye.

Uh. I dunno, I'm on the computer too often, and I enjoy nothing more than plotting, so if you need a sounding board, please IM me(on Aim!) or PM me, and I'll get back to you as quick as possible. It's fun!

Most people call me Thorne or Thorney or even FT, but my RL name is Anna. I'll answer to any of those!

I myself have been RPing for a long time, I'd say five years, and I've played Pern on and off for three years.

My favorite character is F'lar, so I suppose my favorite book is Dragonflight. I know I'm so cliche, but I can't help love him the most!

I'm online pretty much all day. I'm a graphics designer, and after I finish my work I have the rest of the day to play around on my computer. PM me on here, and I can get back with you quick.

I LOVE subplots between characters, so for the love of little green dragons, feel free to start something with my characters!

Hi there...

My RL name is also Kate. Let's go by our screen names so we don't get confused.

I've been RPing DRoP for eight(ish) years now. I started when I was still a kid, and now I'm an adult, but RPing Pern has stuck with me! I don't really RP anything else. Something about the Hatchings and Threadfall just keeps my interest like no other genre can. I love the books too. I own all of them (even Todd's). My favorite is probably Red Star Rising (Dragonseye).

I'm a full time student (it's my last year, waaah!) and I also work in a library. Books are my life. I love to read them and write them too.

Just wanted to add my two cents.. "Waves to the room" My "real name" is Lisa. I'm a mother/business owner who can't stay away from Pern..

Not looking for a shiny. I have more fun creating drama, mischief, and "teeny, tiny" amounts of trouble with my trusty Green rider, and her kinda sorta BFF side kick Brown rider. ;D

I help run a fellow site. "Very slow" but can't leave em. Love the site.
Hum.. not much else.. Laid back, open, and easy to get along with..
Figure I have enough drama in rl why would I want to create it in my "fun time"?
