Jeyna was glad that she had, once upon a time, been quite a philanderer--which was about as close as she'd get as to admitting that she was not still quite the ladies woman. She was used to practicing with a beautiful woman or three around her. She was even used to practicing with a woman or two who frequented her furs. All of that meant that she was able to focus on her and Ragoth and the wing as a whole during Wing Drills, instead of the beautiful-voiced new Green Rider.
All of that did not mean that the moment they were dismissed and free to spend their time as they wanted that she hesitated for even a moment. She had moved, rather subtly, over to Neris and gently caught the slightly taller woman around her waist with her right arm, her helmet dangling from her left hand.
She had ignored the snickers from their colleagues. The fact of the matter was that they were less about Jeyna and Amneris being together, but more about how single-minded, when it came to bedmates, that Jeyna had become.
"Any plans for the rest of the afternoon? I know Pixie would be glad to see you." She grinned, thinking of the little puppy who had also stolen a place in her heart.

Amneris was glad when drills were over. Concentrating all that long was not her forte nor was it Labeth's. The green would be happy now that she could relax in the sun. Neris smiled as her lover tookher by the waist. Knowing what people thought of them meant little to Amneris. She knew the bluerider's reputation and had never asked Jeyna to settle down. If people thought that then they were sorely mistaken.
"Jeyna, you know my afternoons are always free to spend with you. How about I bring Tipp and Note too. Though first I really want a bath!" Amneris knew she couldn't smell good. Summer was her favorite season but sweating in the heat made her enjoy it a little less.
She knew Tipp and Half Note were probably ready for a nice play time with her and Labeth was quite ready for a nap. I can take you back to our weyr first so you may take the canines out. I think I'll doze on my ledge. There is a good amount of sun up there right now.
"Labeth is going to take a nap on her ledge if Ragoth has no plans. " Neris knew Labeth enjoyed company on her ledge and she would be pleased to have the blue there to talk to till she fell asleep.

Ragoth of course heard Amneris through Jeyna, I will be glad to join her if the lovely one will have me.
Jeyna rolled her eyes at Ragoth's words. Flirt with her directly, Ragoth. She grinned to Amneris, "I think he'll be joining her."
You are no fun, mine. He then turned his attention to Labeth. If you would like, I'll join you after I drop mine off.
Jeyna couldn't help but roll her eyes again and then with a grin she pulled Amneris closer to her, leaning up slightly to speak softly in her ear, "I wouldn't say no to a bath. The dogs could play without us for a bit."

Labeth was pleased Of course you may join me Ragoth. The green watched the humans wondering if she was going to have to wait long to go to her ledge. At least she was patient enough not to say anything to anyone. She would simply like to be sunning sooner than later.
Amneris giggled at Jeyna's remarks. "You know baths can be a lot of fun..." She really hoped this was what Jeyna had in mind. Tipp would always play well with Pixie as she had practically raised the pup and Half Note loved other canines. Neither of them had ever shown aggression toward other canines so the need for supervision was low.
"Race you to my weyr." Amneris winked and then ran towards Labeth. The green was not expacting her rider to come running toward her. Why was she suddenly in a hurry? Come on Labeth we want to get there first. No Betweening...its a race.Labeth knew where there was because it was in Amneris' head.

Jeyna smirked suggestively at Amneris' giggle and agreement, gently tightening her hold for just a moment, letting her know that that was exactly what she had meant. There was nothing at all wrong with multi-tasking. They could easily clean the dirt and sweat of the drill off while spending some enjoyable time together. Though even non sexual time with Amneris was quite enjoyable.
I've become a sap.
You have. But you are also happy.
She laughed as Amneris challenged her to a race, running to Ragoth and slamming her helmet on her head--just because that was the easiest place to have it for the short flight. "We fly, dear heart!"
Ragoth rumbled his own laugh as he took off, having caught that they were to go straight to Amneris and Labeth's weyr rather than their own. He flew hard and fast, racing in truth though he did query his rider, Are we wanting to win this race?
Jeyna laughed as she held on effortlessly, Either way, we're all going to win today. Go for it!

Amneris had quickly mounted Labeth though the green took a moment to take off. She was built for sprinting as all greens were. Their personal weyr was not far from Jeyna and Ragoth's since they were in the same wing. It made things much easier. The greenrider knew that Jeyna was the faster runner but she could still try to beat her. As Labeth landed on her ledge, Amneris not exactly being safe, jumped down and made for the inside of the weyr but not before Labeth stopped her.
You humans are silly. Come take these straps off so I can be more comfortable. Coming...Amneris walked back to Labeth and obliged the green. Labeth did not like wearing the riding straps longer than she needed to. She said they were itchy.
This time she actually made it inside where Tipp and Note were waiting with wagging tails. "Hi girls." She smiled and patted them both on the head before walking to her chest to take out fresh towels. She was vaguely aware that Jeyna was there too but she wanted to get everything ready for the bath before she got too distracted.

Jeyna and Ragoth were a moment behind Labeth and Amneris, and when Jeyna slid off Ragoth's back, she grinned as she removed his gear, watching Amneris run back to do the same for Labeth. She had to admit, boredom would never be a problem with the Green Rider. All right, go show your green lady why she chose you.
Ragoth snorted and moved over to do just that. Because I am the best and she would have been crazy not to.
Jeyna chuckled and shook her head, turning her attention back to Amneris and watching her. Jeyna was pretty sure that her young lover had no idea just how truly gorgeous she was, though she was trying to let her know. Her eyes traveled over her body, over curves she had memorized. After a moment she moved to her and grabbed her from behind, whispering in her ear. "You won. What's your prize?"

Amneris smiled as Jeyna took her by the waist. "You are my prize of course." She said squirming to turn around and face her lover. "Now we must get these clothes off if we are going to bathe." Her eyes sparkled with mischief. Jeyna's leathers would be easy to take off, her own leathers were new and a little harder to get on and off. Amneris helped out by taking off her own jacket. Then she moved to take off Jeyna's, letting both jakets fall to the floor.
Ragoth, it is lovely in the sun. I think I see Barsamith sunning over there. The green knew Barsamith from Weyrlinghood and now they were in the same wing. She figured they were friends. Ragoth seemed interested when she talked about other dragons in their wing. After drills today I'm suprised everyone is not at their ledge. Labeth's voice was growing drowsy and slow.

I am sure they will be. Some probably convinced their Riders for a swim before sunning. However, I am quite content to sun here with you, lovely one. He moved closer to her, his Rider's feeling for her Rider, to some degree, coloring his own appreciation of the green. But the fact of the matter was that she was quite a lovely specimen in her own right.
Jeyna ignored the flirting outside, focusing entirely on the flirting inside. "Hmmm... I think I might have to lose to you more often then." When their jackets dropped to the ground, Jeyna pulled Amneris closer, one arm moving from around her waist to the back of her head, running her fingers through the other woman's blonde hair, unconcerned with any sweat or matting from her helmet and caught her lips with her own.

Labeth became unconcerned just as quickly as she had brought up the topic. She never answered Ragoth. The green was tired and laid her head down on her ledge, so that her muzzle nearly dangled off the side. A moment later the dragon was asleep.
Amneris laughed. She doubted that Jeyna would start losing to her on purpose now. Some people were just more competitive than others. The taller woman was pleased by her lover's reaction and met the kiss with eager lips. She did still want that bath but if Jeyna felt lovemaking was in order then Amneris could wait.
(Sorry its sooo short. I'm having trouble with getting into her character...)

When the kiss broke, Jeyna smiled up to her lover and resumed helping her out of the still new leathers, not at all minding that it was a touch more difficult than her own well worn ones. Every now and then as she removed a piece of clothing she'd lean in and kiss the other, gently moving them both in the direction of the bath.
Ragoth's eyes whirled with amusement as the Green fell asleep, inching ever so slightly closer to her, but being careful not to block her sun. Rest well, lovely. He watched her for a moment before closing his own eyes and enjoying the feeling of the sun beating down on his hide.
Once all the clothing was shed, Jeyna smiled to Amneris and scooped her into her arms--taller or not, Jeyna still could and would carry her lover. She kissed her soundly as she carried her to the bath, whispering, "It's time to show you that bath time can also be love making."

Amneris helped with the clothing whenever possible though she was not as deft at it as Jeyna. She watched the bluerider hungrily though she kept her thoughts to herself. When they were naked she was carried off. Despite her height, Amneris was thin and weighed less than she probably should. This was only bad because she had never filled out. What little she had other than skin and bone was muscle and not fat.
"I'm sure you will be the perfect tutor in that area." Amneris laughed. She was glad she would get a bath but also glad that she was going to have fun with her love. She could certainly get used to this.

Jeyna did not mind that Amneris was not as filled out as other women. As far as Jeyna was concerned, Amneris was beautiful. She grinned slightly as kissed her neck softly as she carried her to the bath, "Hmmm... I think so. Though I should have taught you this earlier." She grinned and gently deposited her in the water and then got in herself.
Cleaning became foreplay, as Jeyna used sandsoap to scrub her lover while caressing her with her other hand.
She slowly showed her lover just how pleasant a shared bath could be, moving slowly and though she'd been with Amneris more than once, she still took the time to learn her body and her reactions, watching how each movement or touch affected her.

Amneris laughed. "You have been preoccupied teaching me other things." The greenrider loved baths. They were very relaxing.Amneris thought her hair could do with some scrubbing too as dunked her head under the water. When she came up for air, Jeyna was in the bath with her.
Taking sandsoap in her own hands, she did much the same for Jeyna as the bluerider was doing for her. Every so often, Amneris would kiss a part of skin she found particulary irresistable before returning to scrubbing. She was quite happy to share her bath.
Of course the last time she had to do that was when she was a little girl and it was certainly not pleasant. Her home had not been the nicest of places to begin with but sharing anything with her sister Kendara was always bad for her.
