He was about to say something to Rona when his brother interrupted. Good timing really because he did not want to wait much longer despite the lovely company of the greenrider. "Unfortunately for you it was I. Rona of green Taelith was kind enough to let me join her while I waited for you. I trust you know eachother being from the same Weyrling Class and sorted into the same wing." It was easy to see the resemblence of the two dark youths though they were different as all siblings are.
Ph'yn was actually glad to see his brother was in a good mood. He wished they had impressed in the same clutch. It really was a bummer being a turn behind him. Still the Weylring was not so far behind that they didn't see eachother. "I need some brotherly and dragonrider advice." Seeing how that phrase could be taken the wrong way he added, "Which has absolutely nothing to do with greens..."
He was not old enough to even let Ganymeth think about it. The Bronze was in a fine mood himself. It wouldn't suprise him if he entertained the thought now and again despite being so young. Anything that could get Ph'yn in trouble was good. "It has a lot to do with Ganymeth. He is going to make me a mental case. If you don't want a deadglow for a brother you better be able to help me."

As the sauntering and conceited P'len made his way to the table Rona forced down a feeling not unlike the need to vomit. Look at him, in his shining custom riding leathers, some poor female begging for his attention probably made it for him. Despicable man. Rona's face transformed from a jibing loose half smile into a sarcastic mask of hazel eyes, arched and clever eyebrows, and a drawn yet sensuous mouth. She hated men like P'len, thinking he was god's gift to women. She liked his brother though. "Well, Ph'yn, it was a wonderful meeting you." She said as she rose from the table, with some measure of sincerity "I suppose I'll see you around P'len, always an unexpected pleasure" the last remark was filled with poison despite the formal diction. THen, dark hair swinging in a braid down her back, and boots tapping on the ground, left the table. He made her angry just to look at him. What made it worse was that she was attracted to him. Taelith needed to get flown soon, or Rona was going to explode.

Kesstriel didn't normally make it a habit to watch others during meal times. In fact she usually spent this time with other candidates or the weyrbrats, but today was exceptionally boring. She took advantage of her keen senses to observe the goings on of the people around her. From her table in the candidates section she had a nice view of the few tables around her.
In particular, a trio of riders at the table next to hers was exceptionally entertaining. Kess didn't know any of them exceptionally well, by face alone anyway. The older of the two men was quickly shot down by the young greenrider. Kess couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape at the situation. She quickly stifled it, hoping that the three hadn't noticed.
