There was a little more excitement in the air when the three Wingleaders finished their last notes about the bluerider who had just left. They were moving onto browns and they were over halfway done with interviews. The first brown to be interviewed was G'eph.
"G'eph of Brown Vanarth. The Weyrlingmaster said he made friends quickly and easily with his classmates. He was a steady sort that the other Weyrlings depended on and he had some innate leadership skills, which given the right opportunities might lead him to being a Wingthird or second someday."
That would be a good thing to have around and Zahra was in need of at least one brownrider since the illness had killed a couple of thier older ones. He anticipated the entrance of the browrider with a keen interest in what the boy aspired to.

G’eph had no idea what to expect from the interviews, but surprisingly he was calm. Since impressing to Vanarth his life had changed drastically and the brown rider could not deny that most of it was for the better. No, he wouldn’t change who he was now even if he could.
On that note, he knew that no matter what these interviews were or how they went, he would still be with Vanarth, he would still be at Telgar… and he would still be able to chase Nisha. Surprisingly, the sailor was content just knowing that.
Walking into the interview room, he stopped before the three wingleaders and gave them a nod of his head. It was not a full bow that was probably due their rank, but G’eph had never bowed to anyone and he did not have intentions of starting now. Even so, the nod from him was respectful.
Standing with his feet shoulder width apart, he let his hand rest behind his back – ignoring any chair that might have been there – and waited to see what it was they expected of him. The tall, dark sailor wore his riding leather breeches with his jacket tied around his waist and a white tank covering his chest but leaving his well tanned arms exposed.
