Right. Before I post this, let me first say that A. I feel pretty low about joining just to put this up B. We desperately need members C. There will be a Hatching soon D. I am a shameless advertiser -guilty look- E. Please, please please just at least look at it.
It is non-cannon, so we have colors other than just Gold, Bronze, Brown, Blue, and Green.
One of the reasons I'm actually advertising on a site I don't know is because I want to attract new people there- you, know people I don't know. Because it seems roelplayers develop their own little groups and don't really expand beyond it. I'd like to break up my little groups with a flood of newer people- strengthening the blood, if you will. Plus, it's always fun to rp with epople you never have before, because everyone has different style and different characters.

It has been 6,000 Turns since AIVAS was discovered. Memory of AIVAS has faded, and with it the worries and knowledge of Thread. Weyrs have instead become the new breed of Crafthalls, since Impression and a dragon allows a crafter more leverage to study their craft. Weyrs have developed a type of comeptition, since those who Impress at a Weyr eventually become involved in that Weyr's signature craft. The dragons themselves have prospered, growing to the entire full potential Kitty Ping Ying had designed them to be. Many colors have been added: After Ruth, eggs that were formerly considered duds were instead carefully borken open. The first clutch this technique was used on wielded another 'White' (now called Daisies) and three new colors dubbed Daffodil, Rose, and Fossil. Over time these new colors brought healthy hatchlings of their own color into the world, and 'unhealthy' eggs which held treasured new colors. The ranks and roles within the Weyr shifted as seasons passed, and gradually the names of the Old Colors changed to names that matched the New. Blue Orchid Weyr is one of the many Weyrs in this strange future world, and dedicated to the arts of Horticulture and Breeding. From them Pern has recieved many gifts, from flowers with heavenly scents to elegant canines to oddly colored runners. The most notable of all are the Yandori, a race not unlike the fire lizards that was almsot an accident. One of the richest Weyrs in coin and culture, it is extremely hard to become a part of it. But anything with fortune smiling upon it always attracts darkness. Murders are blooming across the Weyr, and riders and dragons aren't the only targets. The eggs are being poisoned, losing their sheen and dying even before a Hatching begins. People are leaving the Weyr, afraid to be next in line to die. To make matters worse, a rival, Rose Heights Weyr, keeps issuing venomous lies about Blue Orchid's dealings and blaming them for the dissappearance of some of their dragon eggs. Will Blue Orchid live through this tangle of deception, or will the Weyr fall on its face? Only you can decide.
