Coming Soon: Hatching! Includes one gold egg and two silver ones.
A fire lizard hatching will be coming soon as well, and perhaps some drama...-insert sinister music-
Number of Members: One. I'm very lonely.
What We Need: Everything! The first two are needed BADLY.
What We Have:
OOC & IC: We're a semi-canon weyr, or somewhere between canon and noncanon. We're semi-literate and up, so the roleplay may be very advanced or fun fluff. Actually, we're semi everything. Semi-insane, semi-evil, semi-homicidal...well, at least when it come to our characters. :K To sum us up, it's an environment where almost anything can happen and nothing is set in stone.
Mini History: Myth Weyr is made up of a bunch of skeptics who believe Thread will return, and the rest of Pern thinks they are nutters.
Longer, Epic Tale: Thread had been supposedly 'banished' by the actions of Benden Weyr and the new technology. The Weyrholds were established, and everything continued on its happy merry way.
But there were skeptics, those who believe that Pern would never truly be rid of thread. These were those who had had generations of dragonriders in their family; the urge to fight thread sung in their veins. So as others disputed over technology, lived off the land, and learned new crafts, a small group consisting of a young Queenrider and her followers moved to the central northern mountains. They trained and carried on the lifestyle they had always known, with the only addition being hunting and growing their own food. They only came out to Search for Candidates and labor forces.
For turns they lived in silence as Pern moved on and forget them. Close neighbors knew of them and labeled them bonkers- the Red Star was only a myth to frighten young children. The dragonriders of Myth stayed silent, and still trained for the return of Thread.
Five hundred Turns have passed since Myth Weyr's original seclusion. The inhabitants of Myth Weyr still are loyal to their belief...are they just dreamers, or will the Thread return?
