As with all great entities, the Weyr is diveded into Wings for battle against thread.
At Telgar the three main powers are as follows:
[glow=red,2,300]Pyralis Wing:[/glow] Known for flaring tempers, daring manuevers and a certain disregard for the rules. This wing is often responsible for a brawl or a Poker Game gone bad. They are on more than one person's bad list.
[glow=blue,2,300]Triveni Wing:[/glow] Sticking together through the thick and the thin. This wing is comprised of much calmer members of the Weyr. They follow the Weyrleader's every command and are excellent fliers. Responsibilty, faithfulness and fellowship are their creedo.
[glow=Yellow,2,300]Zahra Wing:[/glow] Devilshly tricky, quick minded and borderline sane. Zahra Wing members are more than dragonriders, they are professionals. If someone were to bend the rules, it would be them. They are more often seen flying or reading up on dragon lore than being involved in any sort of frivolity. This is a clever facade, since the Weyr knows they are involved in almost every prank ever done.
At Igen they are:
[glow=Green,2,300]Borrego Wing: [/glow] This Wing is known for knowing when to work and when to have a good time. Don't be surprised if they start a my dragon is bigger than your dragon contest as they tend to be highly competitive.
[glow=orange,2,300]Kyzyl Wing: [/glow]Laid back, often known to have lax rules. Hardly good, they tend to be in and out of trouble with the Weyrleader. While they do know how to have a good time they also know they have to practice. The riders would much prefer these practices to be held after noon. (Apparently they have their reasons)
[glow=Purple,2,300]Namib Wing: [/glow]This wing is dedicated completely to doing every little thing by the book (err ballad). They are the strictest wing in the Weyr and the hardest to belong to. Though they can come across as arrogant, the riders in this wing can have fun with the rest of them. Even if they present themselves in the nicest ways, theres something about these riders that keeps one wondering. Yes, they have a dark side.
