Adreazioh looked very miserable. And he was. His stomach hurt so much, like it was going to explode, like a wineskin left in the sun. So much so, that unlike his usual stomach ache, he needed to go to the Healers. He knew what Healers were: occasionally a student would come to the Caves, and practice on the Holdless there. They even had treats sometimes!
Anyway, he'd found out where they were located in the Weyr while wandering around, and he headed there, hoping they could cure him. Stepping into the infirmary, he glanced around, before trying to contact someone vocally, since there didn't seem to be anyone there.
"E'lo?"
He straightened his vibrant red shirt, then played with the fraying hem of the brown pants he wore. Seconds ticked past, and the little boy with the funny eyes scratched his head. It been less than a minute, and already he was impatient. Mostly because he was feeling soooo miserable!

Eisu paused what she was doing, holding completely still as she listened. Had she heard someone in the other room? Waiting a moment more, she carefully put down the mixture she had been working on. Standing, she moved to the door and let herself through it to find a young boy scratching his head.
Looking him up and down, the healer couldn’t help but wonder the last time the boy had bathed, but decided it probably wasn’t long. More than likely he had just been playing outside where children were more apt to collect dirt. Even so, her healer’s eye could catch on that something was wrong.
“Hello, Are you feeling okay? Would you like to come sit down?” She asked, her voice naturally taking on a motherly tone she used often with the younger children. Giving a soft smile, she offered the boy her hand.

Adreazioh bit his lip, tried to figure out what she was asking, and then asked Austranth. The little brown explained, then, several minutes later, Adreazioh responded in his best Hold Speak.
"Mah stomak 'urts." The boy explained, taking no offense at Eisu's tone. She was, or at least Austranth said she was, offering help, and hadn't told him to leave. And well, that was good enough for him.
"'ix it?" He asked, sounding piteous. Adreazioh felt Austranth sending him love, and trying to soothe him, but the little dragonrider was fairly certain that the tall Healer-lady would fix him.

Eisu found herself fighting to keep the smile on her face as the small boy stood there biting his lower lip. From all appearances it looked like he was either thinking very hard or conflicting with himself over whether he would answer her at all. She thanked her foster parents for teaching her patience as she waited for what she could have sworn to be several minutes.
Finally the boy answered and just as Eisu was about to let out a sigh of relief that he hadn’t turned around and run away she realized she could not understand what he was saying. Lowering her hand, her smile faded slightly as she looked searchingly at the boys face. Kneeling down so she did not tower so far over top of him, she kept her voice friendly and soothing with the practice being a healer gave her.
“Mah stoo mak ‘urts…” she repeated slowly. Looking from one eye to the other, she could tell in his voice that he was asking her for help. The best she could make out, however, was something was hurting him. “Something hurts? Where? Where does it hurt?”
Eisu prepared for another long wait, but hoped he would not have to decide all over again to answer her. Looking him up and down she could not help but notice how thin and pale he was. How had someone at the Weyr managed to grow up to look so sickly? And more importantly, how had she not noticed after being here a turn? She promised herself silently to make sure she helped the boy with whatever he was asking even if it took her all day to figure out what was wrong.

Adreazioh blinked. He could have sworn anyone could have understood his last sentence. Maybe he should spend more time with Ph'yn, and learn his words. Thankfully, she seemed to know that something hurt, and that would make everything easier.
He pulled his shirt up to reveal a stomach that was swollen up. Mostly because he'd eaten enough food for a man twice his height, and twice his width. But hey, it wasn't like a boy who had very little experience with overeating would realize that.
"'urts!" Adreazioh whined. "'urts baad." As a side thought, the Healer lady didn't look very old. Not much older than him at least. Maybe that was why she was confused with what he said?

Eisu’s eyes grew wide as the boy pulled up his shirt to show a pale stomach; a pale stomach more than twice the size it should have been. Looking back up at the boy with sympathy in her eyes, she could easily see now why he had come.
“I bet that does hurt. I’m going to push against it lightly, you need to tell me if it hurts more, and I’m sorry if my hands are cold.” Eisu said, reaching out slowly. Lightly putting her fingers on his pale skin, she pushed lightly testing how hard his stomach had become after being stretched to such a size.
I sure hope this is due to food and not a case of stomach worms. Noticing the ribs showing through his skin not much higher than her fingers were, she felt pretty confident it was not a case of stomach worms which were more common in canines than humans. Even so, she would need to look up the symptoms of stomach worms just to be sure.

When she pressed against his stomach, Adreazioh scrunched up his face, and looked annoyed. It didn't hurt that much more, but he was in pain. He stepped away from the Healer Lady. Who he should probably ask the name of, but at the same time, it would be very difficult to ask. If Austranth was there, the Brown could coach him into speaking properly, but he wasn't, and it was much easier if was in close contact.
He wanted Austranth there, right away. However, that wasn't an option, not yet.
"C'n ya 'ix it?" Adreazioh tried again, hoping that this would all be over soon enough, and he, feeling much better, could go off and spend time with his brown.

The observant healer didn’t miss the look the small boy gave her as he backed away from her touch. Sighing softly to herself she stood up and gave him another gentle smile. Attempting to offer her hand again to the child, she tried to puzzle together what he was saying. She was not sure if he was telling her she had done something wrong or if he was spouting out something else entirely.
“Take my hand, we can go find some Cumin. Its used for stomach aches, and it looks like you’ve got a large one. The tea will not taste bad, I promise. You will feel better.”
Pausing a moment to think, she finally added slowly, “It won’t… ‘urt… any more.” She hoped she was guessing at his words correctly. The more she listened to him the more she could pick up a unique mixture of accents. Even so, she was not entirely confident she had guessed the right meaning to the word, but it sounded like it could be ‘hurt’.
