"Hmm-mm. I know its not exactly Harper Blue, but its the closest I have, and as a former Harper Apprentice, you definitely should get to wear the color with pride." She smiled over to her warmly.
Jeyna shook her head slightly, "Take your time, though you may be too hungry for that." She chuckled, "I imagine your body needs to make up for everything it went through." Jeyna herself was a bit hungry, but she would wait patiently on Amneris.
Despite whatever feelings that Jeyna had for the younger woman, she did not watch her get dressed, but rather provided her some privacy by tending to Ragoth. Because the two were under quarantine, they'd not be gong down to the lake to bathe their dragons for a few days, but Jeyna still checked his hide for rough patches. She could oil him and he could go splash in the water without her. It'd do for a limited time.
"You should tell Labeth she can come here. I'm sure she misses you and it would probably be best for both of you if you were together." She had missed that Amneris had already discussed the possibility with the Green. "I know Ragoth won't mind he company."
I like the little Green, I will be glad to share my ledge with her while you are stuck here. Though you do not feel restless, Mine.
Jeyna shrugged, I don't mind. And she survived, and is recovering. That's worth it.

Neris didn't comment on the fact that she also found that blue was a good color for her complexion. She wan't exactly focused on much concerning fashion but she did understand that some colors were worse for pale people to wear than others. White for instance, washed her face out. Dark riding leathers would probably look good on her. She hoped they would anyway.
Labeth was on her way to the ledge even as Jeyna brought it up. "She is almost here." The green landed with her usual grace and greeted the adult blue with a warm tone. Greetings Ragoth. Thank you for sharing your ledge. Labeth was more than happy that she had called on them for help, especially now that hers was recovering.
Amneris dressed quickly. The clothes while slightly big were not too large for her to wear. In fact one might consider them comfortably large. She then wrung out her hair, which wasn't as long as it had been when she was a Candidate, but it was still longer than the Weyrlingmaster would like it to be.
Her eyes drifted over to Labeth, visually assessing her little green before walking over to her and hugging her large dragon neck. "You were wonderful Labeth. And they say greens are easily confused..." She had to admit not every green would have been calm enough to contact another dragon for help. Amneris let go of Labeth slowly and looked over at the food. Her stomach grumbled a little causing her to laugh. "Do you think we should eat now?"

Jeyna chuckled a bit, realizing she should have known that Labeth would already be on her way. "Welcome, Labeth. I hope you find your Rider in acceptable shape considering. Though I'll keep taking care of her until she's completely better."
Greetings to you, Labeth. I am more than glad to share my ledge with you. The blue noticed the green was developing nicely, though he would not flirt with her just yet. She was still a bit young for that. Nor did he wonder how long it would be until she flew, as he just didn't think ahead that much.
Jeyna smiled to 'Neris. "It looks good on you, hun. I may have to let you keep them for lounging clothes or sleep wear." She then laughed at the sound of the growling stomach, "I definitely think we should eat now. And Ragoth said that we are under strict orders to eat the citrus fruits. Not really sure I believe they'll help, but I'm not arguing with healer's orders, even if delivered through a dragon."
As she moved over to the table, she'd pull the chair for Amneris, "How are you feeling? You had me scared for a bit there, you know."

The green was pleased with her welcome and settled onto the ledge comfortably after Amneris left her. She liked Ragoth. Then again, there were very few people and dragons she did not like. Green dragons were generally more friendly than other colors, often overly so. Amneris figured it wasbecause they wanted to be admired.
"Well those healers usually know what they are talking about. I'd rather eat them and give it a try than not and risk being more ill. You probably need it more than I, having exposed yourself to the illness." Amneris wondered if Jeyna would catch it. She knew that it was highly likely with what the Healer Hall had been saying. She hoped Jeyna didn't catch it but she wanted to prepare herself for the possibility that she could.
"I am feeling better, stronger but still more tired than I normally am. I was scared myself for a while there." She was more scared of death than she had originally thought. "If you hadn't come to get me I might have died..." Amneris was pretty sure of that.

"Well, you didn't. I'd kind of rather not think about if you had. We're losing enough as it is. You're a good friend 'Neris. When Labeth contacted Ragoth, I had to come. There was no way I could let this illness take you away from us." She wasn't a ranker. She didn't need to go on that, every pair is important stuff. Amneris and Labeth were important to Jeyna, and that was what she had acted on. She could not guarantee she would have done it for anyone else, but then maybe she would have.
She gestured to the food, "After you. You need it more than I do right now to regain your strength, though I will take the advice on the fruit." She went ahead and grabbed one of those while she waited for Amneris to take what she wanted. They had sent up plates and Jeyna had set them on the table with the food.
As the blue rider peeled the fruit she turned her head to cough. That was kind of weird, two coughs in such a short time. Oh well, she didn't feel ill otherwise, so she shrugged it off and finished peeling the fruit.

Amneris had not expected what Jeyna was going to say. It made her heart rise in her chest though she tried to ignore it. Jeyna did care for her, she knew that. Amneris did wonder if she was beginning to grow slightly attached to the blue rider. It wasn't something she had done on purpose but more and more things came to her mind that were both encouraging and disturbing.
The fact that Labeth contacted Ragoth, knowing that ultimately she was contacting Jeyna was one thing. Either the blue rider was on her mind or the blue was on Labeth's. Why? Now that was a question she would prefer not to answer. Amneris went and started in on some of the food. She was fond of rolls and ate one promptly. This was followed by eating a red fruit and looking over a round orange fruit.
Jeyna coughed and Amneris began to think that perhaps she had indeed gotted her sick. She would never forgive herself if something happened to Jeyna because of her. "I'm glad that you came for me. Its much more comfortable here than at the barracks."

Jeyna was blissfully unaware of what was going on in the young Green Rider's mind. Of course, she was still insisting that while she might find the Green Rider to be intriguing and attractive and smart and independent, that she simply thought of her as a good friend. And for the most part it was true. Jeyna had many friends who were also bed friends, but she also knew that sex could change friendship, and she valued friendship over the physical (something only those close to her knew). And she had few friends who were as close as the friendship with 'Neris had come. She was not willing to risk it, despite any attraction.
"I remember the barracks. I really think that whoever designed them did it specifically so that Weyrlings would not get too comfortable in them. Though I've never met a Weyrling not more than ready to graduate and move out when the time comes." She chuckled, though it turned into another cough.
"Something must be tickling my throat..." She smiled, dismissing the cough and then finished off the orange. After she finished the orange and Amneris had taken some food, she chose some for herself as well and began to eat.
"Besides, if I didn't come for you, someone would have, and I couldn't be sure they'd take care of you as well as I knew I would." She winked, teasing her gently. Of course whoever had taken care of her would have done a good job.

"I hope thats the reason, rather than wanting to make our lives miserable..." Amneris grinned. She was beginning to feel tired but continued eating. The orange colored fruit was not her favorite but she ate it. If the healers thought it was best, then so be it. When she got the fruit down her throat she started in on her drink, a cup of water. It might not be the most tasty but it was best for her at the moment.
After another audible cough and an excuse, Amneris raised an eyebrow, "You know, thats sounds a lot like what I said when I started coughing." She looked over at Jeyna clearly concerned that it was more than what she was making it out to be.
"Actually, I don't think thats true. I told Labeth to get help. She contacted Ragoth. Labeth knew you were my best friend and wouldn't let me die anymore than she would." She grinned over at Jeyna and then promptly yawned. The young blonde wasn't used to tiring so easily.

"Well, that could be it too... thankfully, I don't make those kinds of decisions." Some blues, apparently, disliked their lack of authority. Jeyna reveled in the freedom that being a non-Ranker brought.
"I'm fine, 'Neris. And I'm not really worried. If I get sick, I get sick." She grinned, "I'm sure you'd take care of me." Though Jeyna was sure that the cough was not something to worry about. "After all, you're stuck here until they decide we can't make anyone else sick."
She smiled warmly at what Amneris said next. "Never. And you're my best friend too. However, if you've had enough to eat and drink, its back to bed with you. You're still recovering and its quite clear that you still need sleep."
I think you should rest too. The cough could mean you are sick, Mine.
I'm fine, Ragoth. One could not lie in mindspeech, but it wasn't lying if you believed it to be true.

"I would do my best. Never did pay attention when my mother talked about herbs. That might have been helpful with all this illness." Amneris tried not to think that it might have killed off her entire family and she would never know. It was scary enough that Jeyna was all too likely sick.
She stood up. "Alright, but you should sleep too. I ignored the coughs at first too. Its easier to sleep before the coughs get worse." Amneris suggested though she didn't think Jeyna would listen. In fact she was fairly certain the blue rider would be stubborn about this illness thing.
Too tired to spend any more time trying to convince Jeyna to rest, she slipped under the coverlets, quick as you please, and got comfortable. "I'll leave room for you, should you decide to rest." Amneris slept on one side of the bed, perfectly aware that if she was in the way it would be easy to move her.
Silly, your not sleeping. Don't worry. Ragoth and I are here to watch over both of you. In other words Labeth would be watching carefully to make sure her rider didn't get worse and Ragoth would do the same for Jeyna. Labeth didn't see any need to focus so on the blue rider. Amneris couldn't think of a decent reply at least not one that would please her green. So she decided sleep was best. Her breathing evened out and she slipped into unconsiousness.

Jeyna wanted to protest that Amneris was wrong, but even the stubborn Blue Woman could break out of her own sense of things at time. The fact of the matter was that both Amneris and Ragoth had commented on the cough, and while it could be nothing, it could also be the illness.
She almost sighed, but decided that even that protest that she was fine was not worth it. "Just let me see to Pixie and cleaning up." She had wanted to check the hides of both Ragoth and Labeth, but she also decided to let that go for now. They were not growing, and they would be oiled just as soon as one of the two women were able to, she was sure.
Mine, if you get sick and die, my hide will not matter. Sleep, please.
She nodded and watched as Amneris went to sleep. Pixie was placed in her "pen" and given some food and fresh water, and then Jeyna put away the rest of the food that was sent up. Since there was no one to argue with at that point, she just climbed into the bed. It was not long before she also was asleep, one arm absently thrown over Amneris.

Amneris woke, mind touching Labeth's softly. It was light and for all she knew it was another day. Good morning. Morning? You were tired, so was Jeyna. As the dragon commented on Jeyna, Amneris realized she snuggled up to her and Jeyna's arm was around her.
Didn't look like Neris would be able to get out of bed. Nor was she certain she wanted to. The one thing that did concern her was that Jeyna might be sick and Neris had no way of knowing how the bluerider was feeling as she was fast asleep. Labeth seemed at ease so Amneris took it as a good sign.
This bed was entirely too comfortable. Even if she wasn't snuggled in, she wouldn't be getting out of the bed right away. Amneris was used to cots and those old beds they had in the Barracks. When she became a full rider, with whatever money they gave her for furniture she'd be sure to get a comfortable bed first.

Jeyna had a slight fever, and Amneris would probably feel that if she made any contact with her skin. Her face was also slightly flushed. However, the fever itself was pretty slight, something any kind of investigation would reveal to the young Green Rider.
Feeling the Green move slightly against her Jeyna opened an eye. She blinked realizing that she was holding the younger woman, but since Amneris did not seem to moving away, she simply smiled. "Ugh... what color was the dragon that hit me?"
Mine? Are you ok?
She decided after what she'd said, she needed, probably, to assure both her Blue and the beautiful young woman sharing her bed. "I'm sore. All over. A little cold. But I don't feel too horrible." She moved her arm from the young woman so she could get up if she wanted to.
"So yes, you two both told me so." She grinned. "And no, I don't want to sleep more, so please, don't tell me I need more sleep." She grinned even more as she stretched a bit, "Though I am rather comfortable at the moment."

Amneris grinned at teh blue rider, pleased that she had awakened finally. "I'm sorry I got you sick." The Weyrling said as she began to make a little more space between herself and Jeyna, AMneris wanted to be helpful. "We do still have food around." She slid out of the bed, wistfully.
Brisquely walking toward the table where the food was, Amneris observed that though the bread was a little stale the fruit was still good. "How about you stay where you are and I bring you breakfast in bed?" the young woman's voice was cheerful and she was feeling a lot better. Labeth seemed to have teken on the same feeling. Even the green's olive hide was looking better.
"You'll be needing water too." Amneris spoke as she found a tray and a couple cups. Searching for where Jeyna stored her water, Amneris finally was able to fill the cups and load the tray with the food that was still good. A few of the rolls were not hard as a rock and most the fruit had made it. No need to send Ragoth out to the kitchens just yet. Setting the tray on the edge of the bed, Amneris laid down, feet near the pillows and propped her head up with her right arm to face the food.

"I'm not going to say no to being served in bed by a beautiful woman." Jeyna grinned at Amneris. While she had been flirtatious previously, the slight fever was kind of affecting any sense of a monitor the Blue rider between her brain and her mouth.
"Amneris, sweetie, you really do not need to apologize. I chose to take care of you. I knew the risks. And apparently, I've gotten a pretty light case of it." At least compared to what she had seen Amneris suffering through. "So stop worrying." She watched as Amneris gathered everything and then definitely appreciated seeing her laid out like that.
Mine. Careful. You are not thinking normally.
Jeyna blinked and looked towards her blue and then shook her head. "I'm fine." She leaned up to reach for the water Amneris had brought. If anything, she was a bit thirsty. She'd eat, but she wasn't really hungry.
