(taking place in small courtyard)
Bennik had been infatuated with Lord Merrick's daughter Alsea for quite some time now. Oh the letters he had written in his head! But he could never actually talk to her. He was so far below her, an apprentice (but almost journeyman!) healer with a scandalous master healer mother and a master harper for a father. He had some money, but not enough to attract her eyes. His mother thought he was being quite foolish and the sooner that Alsea was married and moved off, the better.
Well, now there were rumors that she was getting married, to some one in Telgar. Heartbroken, Ben was sulking about and his mother told him to get out of the apartments. He took a little guitar and sat in the tiny corner space, and twiddled a random tune on the strings.
"Her lips were like rubies, Her eyes like sapphires, Such beauty should be criminal. . ."
He played a false note. "Oh, Faranth, what rhymes with. . . Oh that will never work." Bennik would never get his feelings out. He sighed. Well, there was that girl Kamari. She was alright, he guessed.

Suwert quietly entered the courtyard as he looked around the Hall. Catching sight of Bennik, and hearing his musing, he chuckled quietly. He motioned for Black to stay near the doorway as he walked over to Bennik, trying to not make too much noise with his cane.
When he got close enough, he quietly cleared his throat. "Trying to do some poetry? Sounds like you have a start."
