When they got the drum message from the Healer Hall, Bitra had taken the instructions seriously. Jazira had sequestered her own children in their rooms. The three who were ill were kept seperated from the rest of them. She was not allowed in to see them because of the baby, who was at a high risk to catch an epidemic because she was only three months old.
Jazira still had no idea where her two missing children were but after three months of no news, she was growing more and more irritable. The death toll in Bitra from the disease was already nearing one hundred and most of them lived in the main Hold.
