Marisol had been iritable all day. If that wasn't enough, her Wingleader insured that the day was going to be a bad one. The fact that practice was long and grueling should have made her more tired than ever but she only felt more energized. Their were people in her wing, who seemed to be staring at her. Since her return to regular duties, she still had that lively glow she always had. Having a baby had changed her a little but nothing that should be noticeable. Still there were those people who didn't want women in Wings because of these sorts of issues.
The greenrider sighed, on her way out of her bath to go and feed her green. The green complained in annoyance,I'm not hungry. You always eat in the middle of the sevenday, you know that. We may go but I don't want to eat. Maybe there will be something interesting going on at the Feeding Grounds. When the green mentioned something interesting it usually inferred that there may be some males who would be pleasant companions for the evening.
By now Marisol should have known the signs of when her dragon was about to fly. She had been too distracted lately to think about time since last flight and all of that. She barely even had a moment to herself. What with visiting the baby, taking care of her own body, trying to catch up with the physical demands of Wing drills and of course keeping up with Seryth's basic needs.
Once at the Feeding Grounds the green watched a brown snap the neck of a herbeast. She thought of the power of such an action. The dragon felt that sudden and unmistakable urge. She wanted to fly, as far and high away from here as she could. Marisol too felt that pull. The green's eyes swirled purple as she let out a loud call, I am Seryth, free to fly as far and high as I please. None dare stop me.
The red head watched as the green took to the skies extending out her wings as she caught the wind. Her Seryth had always been a fiesty one. She wasn't about to calm down for this flight.

Ragoth and Jeyna were heading out for the feeding grounds themselves. They got there just in time to see Seryth and hear the challenge.
Ragoth's own eyes twirled, as he felt the pull to chase the familiar Green.
No.
That took Ragoth by surprise. Jeyna had stopped him from flying before. However, that was usually when there was some conflict between her and the Green Rider. Or when Jeyna knew that the other would react badly to finding out that they had been bedded by a woman rather than a man.
Its Seryth. You like Seryth's Rider. I fly!
No.
Why not?!
Jeyna could not explain why she did not want Ragoth to fly Seryth. Mari was a good friend. She always enjoyed the interludes that she had had with the other woman; neither ever seemed to leave the bed without having been satisfied multiple times. And yet, Jeyna did not want Ragoth to fly the Green.
Just no.
Seryth is a Green! She rises. I chase!!
No, Ragoth. Not this time.
Ragoth made a very disappointed sound, but backed down, letting his Rider when the battle of wills. He paced by the feeding grounds, casting glances to the sky and back to his Rider, waiting for flight to be gone before feeding.
Jeyna rubbed at her head. Not entirely understanding what just happened, but glad that she was no longer having to fight her Blue.

It was going to be a good day, R'lec could feel it. After waking late, he glanced over to the brunette sprawled on the other side of his bed. What was her name again? There had been a lot of wine poured last night...He'd gotten her with one of his old tricks. He'd taken Princess out for a walk, and like he'd planned, the girl had shown up to fawn over the canine. Well, the night was over. Hopefully, she'd take the hint of the empty weyr and not linger too long. R'lec dressed, and without a word, left. He was starving...was it time for lunch now?
Seryth rises.
Myneth was never one for dressing up the facts, especially when it came to a flight. R'lec stopped midway to the WeyrHall. Seryth wasn't a familiar name, which immediately told him two things: Myneth hadn't flown this green before, nor had R'lec bedded her rider. Well, there was a first time for everything.
"Well then, looks like we'll have some fun today." He changed directions, making for the Bowl. Myneth wasted little time - a flight, whether queen or green, was another chance to prove his prowess. And, of course, mate. The bronze's libido was well matched with his rider's. Just as R'lec made it to Marisol, the bronze took to the skies after the green. Seryth was free to fly, but only until Myneth caught her.

J'ren felt it before he realized what it was. Having come back from his run he had just washed up and was considering lunch.
Gliath, what is it, what is happening? Seryth rises! She calls to us, we must rise, we must fly
J'ren started for the bowl, trying to focus. Seryth was a green, her rider was....Marisol? Yes, that was her. J'ren made it through the doors out into the bowl. He saw Marisol standing there, and R'lec.
With a few final steps he stood next to them. Seryth calls! I shall rise! The massive bronze took off, stirring up dust as he trailed after the green, and quickly caught up to the other bronze.

Marisol wasn't really that picky when it came to whom she bedded, as far as flights were concerned. It did suprise her that the two dragons who were quick to answer Seryth's challenge were Bronzes. Seryth was agile enough to outfly a Bronze for quite a while but they had much more stamina than the green.
The green pretended not to notice those who gave chase. They would be there, following her every move. It was entirely her game now. They were entering upon Seryth's element. She loved to fly as far and as fast as she could. The false sense of freedom was perhaps what she liked most about it. The green made a quick turn to the right and then flew higher, for once glancing back at the Bronzes.
On the ground Marisol was completely in tune with her green. It was a bit of an ego boost to have to Bronzes giving chase. Especially to Marisol, who had been bored with her last few flights. Being pregnant, she had decided for the safety of her baby to only have closed flights. Now that whole mess was done with and she was free. So very very free!

Myneth took no notice of the other bronze - he didn't trouble with matters that were of little or no consequence to the flight. Because he knew, as only a bronze dragon only could in his vain mind, that Seryth would be his by the end of the day.
Just as Myneth's eyes whirled in a lusty purple, R'lec's own were out of focus, caught in the emotions and heady feelings that accompanied a flight. His hand was on her arm, as if trying to claim possession, if she would allow it.
The green had banked sharply to the right, and flew even higher. The altitude didn't bother the bronze. As he was quite larger, he took a different route - gaining height with expert flaps of his strong wings. Then, with only a slight change in course, he was relatively close behind her again: the same result with much less effort. All he had to do really, was wait for her to tire of such antics. And then he'd be there.

(I flipped a coin... heheh,... when I say open, I mean open... lol)
Marisol was not the type of person who wanted to be dominated by a man. By R'lec placing his arm on her as if he claimed her, she immediately felt suffocated by it. She was free! Lightly pulling her arm away from him she felt the Seryth part of her tugging toward the open blue skies.
Nothing could stop them. Nothing! As they thought this, they knew they were tiring. The green, for all her trickery and manuevers, knew she could not fly forever, though she may wish it were so. Seryth decisively moved herself so that, although she had slowed she was always just out of reach.
The pair was weighing their options. J'ren was a younger man, certainly attractive and quiet. He couldn't have won too many of these. R'lec was quite the opposite. It was her first open flight after having the baby. She wasn't sure what she wanted, a hard thing for Marisol/Seryth to admit. Either way they would win... so which one?
The green was more tired now and it showed very well in her movements. She was slower and it was a strain to fly. Going for whoever was closest wouldn't work since they were both fairly close. Instead she left herself drop, which would have been perfect except her wing nearly collided with Gliath. Marisol felt her dragon regain herself but only to find herself caught by the Bronze.
Marisol slid her arms around J'ren with a wanton smile. She led him into the flight room without hesitation. Never the sort to be shy about this, she did breifly wonder what could have happened if she could have both men at the same time but figured Bronzers weren't the type to share well. With a passionate kiss she moved as close as she could to J'ren.
(Fade to black..... Thanks to everyone who participated!)
