Timeline
Turn 1035- Gold Lyranth impresses to Saylen of Benden.
Turn 1044- Gold Saharth hatches, impressing to Jenafa
Turn 1051- Retired Gold Leerath betweens. Her rider dies in her sleep of old age (81).
Turn 1053- the illness spreading through Pern hits Igen Weyr fast and hard, killing many children and elder folk. Some dragons Between in confusion.
Keroon 's wild fires put out by the riders of Igen, with the use of aerial support and water buckets. The Lord Holder becomes more supportive of the Weyr.
Turn 1054
As illnesses rampaged Pern so to did they hit Igen Weyr. Their numbers are greatly reduced and the Queens are still clutching normal clutches unlike Telgar's super Queen, Adeloth and her thirty odd eggs a clutch.
Turn 1055 Saharth has laid a Golden Egg!
A'stin remains Weyrleader, as he becomes the longest reigning Weyrleader since Shaye took over as Senior Weyrwoman.
Lyranth dies clutching, Shaye suicides.
A'stin will remain Weyrleader until Saharth flies.
Igen has seperated itself from the other Weyrs. Preferring to keep to themselves for the past few hundred Turns has led to some inbreeding. Many other Weyrs blame Igen's low clutch numbers on this inbreeding though the Weyr has refused to take in any new blood.
Currently at odds with Telgar Weyr and Ista Weyr.
The Weyr is holding the Weyr Meeting Turn 1055.
